Is this really a problem with owning a G Wagon?

The wheel’s and the badge are bigger concerns from a couple folks I know who’ve owned them. They lost their AMG wheels on more than one occaision.

Oddly one of truck’s in my parents fleet has Escalade wheels with the Caddy inserts (long story but they were free) and no theft attempts in 4 years.

Problem with owing a G63AMG - you are essentially driving a giant middle finger to everyone.

The big problem with these, really, is the image they project. They say to the world “hey, guys, I managed to find a more vulgar alternative to the H2!”

I know that AMG wheels are pricey, but 20 grand for headlights, taillights and wheels?

I mean he realizes it’s expensive, but when you have as much money as Alejandro has, it really doesn’t matter as much.

Also, if you spend as much as you do on that kind of car 20k is not that much, let alone when you spend as much as he does on cars-

More likely than not a huge bulk of that would have been wheels and Xenon self leveling headlams are E-X-pensive as fuck...

i think the major reason many car enthusiasts don’t like this because the car will never be used for what it was built for: proper off-roading

I wondered the same thing. Also, asking a company to VIN stamp the headlights, a part bought in “bulk” from the supplier that is the same for all models, is hilariously wrong.

The reason car enthusiasts don’t like it is because they took a proper $40k off road vehicle, added $50k worth of luxury, a $30k engine that should be in something with a lower center of gravity, and $20k worth of bling. It serves no point, it can no longer go off road, it’s too heavy for that crazy engine. The interior is insanely small, meaning it has no utility. It drives like a tank.

The reason everyone else hates it is because it has awful mileage, it’s ungodly expensive and it comes stock looking like something a rapper had already pimped out.

that too. the only reason people actually like this is to show people that they’re better than them.
